Sundial 19

Sundial on the bell tower of the Susa Cathedral

The Cathedral San Giusto, built in the 11th century, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in the town of Susa (Piedmont, Italy), dedicated to Saint Justus.

The facade is joined to a Roman gate of the 4th century, the Porta Savoia, to the south.

The Romanesque bell tower (51 meters) has mullioned windows.

Beautiful shots of a beautiful and fascinating looking place. Sundials probably work better in Italy than in the UK! Mind you, coincidentally, there's an interesting one on the side of St Lawrence's, Eyam - thanks very much for visiting my blog!

Tra metropoli e montagna, edifici antichi e recenti, questo reportage molto bello rende l'idea di questa cittadina che guarda verso le grandi montagne.
