Palazzo Reale


The Palazzo Reale (1640), one of Turin's most splendid baroque monuments which was the official Savoy royal residence until 1865. The façade is attributed to Amedeo di Castellamonte.



One of the statues of Dioscuri, Castore and Polluce, sculptured by Abbondio Sangiorgio in 1841.

Una facciata veramente maestosa e bella, direi pari a quella del palazzo reale di Napoli che è stato eretto più o meno nello stesso periodo.
